Pia Andresen started her PhD project in September 2021 as part of the ERC project OPTIMAL, after obtaining a Research master’s degree in behavioral science (cum laude) from Radboud University, Nijmegen. 

Her research examines how the application of dynamic modeling and ILD to psychological constructs can contribute to conceptual clarity of the field. For example, her first project illustrates how various ILD procedures could be applied to express more nuanced and differentiated claims about within-person patterns corresponding to personality traits. Pia is also interested in philosophy of psychology & statistics, meta-science and works as a freelance photographer.
